Riyadh: The government of Saudi Arabia has revived the visa-on-arrival programme for people holding valid visas of the US, the UK, and the Schengen Area.

The citizens belonging from any country who hold justifiable visas of one of the aforementioned countries and travellers using one of the country’s national carriers for their journey– Saudia, Flynas or Flyadeal – will be eligible for a 12-month on arrival visa in Saudi Arabia, without prior application.

The valid US, UK, or Schengen visa holders must have used their visa at least once to enter the issuing country. After that, they will be eligible for the visa on arrival programme.

Furthermore, all the global citizens that are eligible for the e-visa programme introduced in 2019 are eligible for the visa on arrival programme regardless of the airline they are using for their travel. In addition to that, COVID-19 insurance should be obtained by the visitors. This insurance can be bought at any of Saudi Arabia’s international airports.
